Ensure that the --tls-cert-file and --tls-private-key-file arguments are set as appropriate (API Server)

Setup TLS connection on the API server. API server communication contains sensitive parameters that should remain encrypted in transit. Configure the API server to serve only HTTPS traffic.

Risk Level: High
Cloud Entity: Pods

Covered by Spectral: Yes
Category: Compute

KubernetesPod where labels contain [value='kube-apiserver'] and namespace = 'kube-system' should have spec.containers with [(parsedArgs contain [key like 'tls-cert-file' ]) and (parsedArgs contain [key like 'tls-private-key-file' ])]

Follow the Kubernetes documentation and set up the TLS connection on the apiserver.
Then, edit the API server pod specification file $apiserverconf
on the master node and set the TLS certificate and private key file

Pods are the smallest deployable units of computing that can be created and managed in Kubernetes.A Pod is a group of one or more containers (such as Docker containers), with shared storage/network, and a specification for how to run the containers.
